Simple Summary: myTEKS does not collect, store, or share any personal information. Your tracking data stays on your device and optionally syncs to your personal iCloud account.
myTEKS is designed with teacher privacy as a core principle. Your curriculum tracking data is your own.
Information We DON'T Collect
- Personal information (names, emails, school names)
- Location data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage analytics or tracking data
- Which standards you've marked as covered
Information Stored Locally
myTEKS stores the following on your device:
- Your TEKS tracking progress
- Favorites and bookmarks
- App preferences and settings
iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud sync:
- Your progress syncs to your personal iCloud
- Data syncs only between your own devices
- We cannot access your iCloud data
TEKS Content
The TEKS standards included in the app are public domain curriculum standards published by the Texas Education Agency. We do not claim ownership of these standards.
