I build educational and utility apps for Apple platforms, focusing on clean design and intuitive experiences.

Launched my first iOS app: an educational geography quiz with daily challenges, flags, capitals, and country exploration.
2026
miniAtlas v2.0
Major update with liquid glass design, redesigned UI/UX, tutorial mode, iCloud syncing, achievements, and Mac support.
2026
Name Wheel, myTEKS, 1Y Bible, Zen
Expanded my portfolio with a classroom name picker, a TEKS curriculum tool for Texas teachers, a distraction-free Bible reading app, and an AI-powered anxiety relief coach.

Background

Before iOS development, I built a career across academia, research, and business operations.

Academic Foundation
Dual background in physics and sports science, combining analytical thinking with understanding of human performance.
Published Researcher
Conducted research in differential psychology, publishing peer-reviewed papers on cognitive assessment and stereotype accuracy and presenting at international conferences.
Business Operations
Held leadership roles including Lead Instructor, Business Manager, and COO across a 6-location franchise in the martial arts and education industry. Oversaw budgets, led digital transformation initiatives, and managed teams across multiple sites.
Competitive Athlete
Black belt in full-contact knockdown karate with over 100 regional, national, and international competitions. Five-time World Championship competitor with three podium finishes, including two bronze and one silver medal. Also coached athletes to national and international success, developing both individual champions and winning teams.
Apple Ecosystem
Now building apps with Swift for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. My first laptop was a 15" MacBook Pro, and my first smartphone an iPhone 3G. I've been in the Apple ecosystem ever since.

What Drives Me

I believe in creating apps that serve a purpose. Whether it's helping people learn geography, supporting teachers with curriculum tools, or providing a focused Bible reading experience, every app should make life a little bit better.
