Vivling

A virtual creature nurturing game where you raise a small, one-of-a-kind creature across life stages, biomes, and generations. It never truly ends, it only deepens.

Every Vivling is procedurally generated, so no two players ever raise the same creature. Feed it, clean it, play with it, and watch it grow from egg to elder. When its life ends, its traits carry on to the next generation, building a lineage and history unique to you.

Design Pillars

The ideas the whole game is built on

The creature is the UI

No stat bars on screen. A hungry Vivling shrinks and droops. A happy one bounces. Its appearance tells you everything you need to know.

No fear of leaving

Tuck your Vivling into Deep Sleep and walk away guilt-free. The sleep system removes the core anxiety of virtual pet games while still rewarding an active, natural rhythm.

Infinite by accumulation

Each generation inherits traits, appearance, and legacy from the last. Your Codex fills with the story of every Vivling you have ever raised.

Worlds to grow into

From a quiet meadow to desert, arctic, jungle, and beyond. New biomes, actions, and depth unlock gradually as you and your Vivling earn them.

Playful, not punishing

Tactile mini-games like The Toss, The Scrub, The Chase, and The Hold reward care with bonuses. No fail states where it matters, no dominant strategies.

Apple-native throughout

Built entirely with Swift and Apple frameworks, no third-party engines. Designed for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro from day one.
